Erin and Troy’s wedding was one to remember. They tied the knot at the Tucson Desert Botanical Gardens, a venue that felt straight out of Pride and Prejudice, with its lush greenery and timeless, romantic charm. The afternoon began with Erin getting ready, and when I reached for her dress, I was absolutely in awe. It was one of the most beautiful gowns I’ve ever seen! It was a vintage, off-the-shoulder silhouette with soft draping around a structured Basque waist, paired with bold red pumps that pulled the entire look together. It was iconic and perfectly captured her romantic garden vision. Erin and Troy did their first look in a lush green garden, followed by a heartfelt ceremony where they shared their vows in front of their loved ones. You could see their families deeply moved, especially as they sealed their union with a Celtic handfasting ceremony. From the very beginning, Erin and Troy wanted a documentary-style approach to their wedding and to be fully present during cocktail hour. That gave me the space to focus on all the candid, emotional moments—quiet exchanges with family, teary-eyed glances between the two of them, and so many bursts of joy. The Desert Botanical Garden was the perfect backdrop for their celebration: timeless, intimate, and softly lit by golden desert light. Their love was palpable in every interaction, and it was such a gift to witness and capture their story as it unfolded so naturally.
